Fired Nexstar Anchor Breaks Her Silence

In a Patron Only story on June 9th, FTVLive told you how Nexstar’s WTWO in Terre Haute had fired popular Weather Anchor Alex Kerkhove.

Kerkhove was one of the rare ones, who used her social media to inform viewers and not just post selfies and makeup videos.

in our story, FTVLive wrote, “despite being at the station for less than a year, her station-branded Facebook page had more followers than the station's other two meteorologists combined. Only Chief Met Jessee Walker had more.Yet, less than a year into her first job, Nexstar fired her and deleted her professional Facebook page.”

Well, Kerkhove is using her personal Facebook page to weigh in on her firing.
