The Only Reporter Aggressively Covering Trump

Maggie Haberman is making the rounds pimping her book “Regime Change” which dropped this week. It is one of the few political books that I am planning on buying.

Haberman stopped by The Daily Show, and discussed how the White House structures the press corps to limit follow-up questions and control the briefing room.

While discussing the difficulties of covering Trump in his second term, Haberman said, "Routinely the only person really challenging him aggressively — and not rudely or unprofessionally — is Kaitlan Collins. And she takes an enormous amount of shit, and she keeps a total straight face. But she doesn't have backup."

FTVLive agrees with that take and we have called out many in the White House press corps who often let Trump attack (usually female) Reporters and don’t stick up for them.

It’s sad just how afraid so many of these Reporters are of Donald Trump. Collins at least has the guts to ask tough questions and take the blowback from Trump. Despite the rest of the press, cowering in the corner.
