Byron Allen's Fantasy

Byron Allen went on fired CNN host Don Lemon’s podcast to claim that there’s never been a Black late-night host on one of the three main broadcast networks.

Of course, he doesn’t mention that Arsenio Hall, who averaged over 3.5 million viewers, was on in late-night. Hall was syndicated and mostly shown on Fox affiliates.

The other thing Allen, who’s Comics Unleashed is averaging just over 700K viewers, is the only late-night host, of any race, who is paying the network to put him on the air. All the other late night hosts are paid for the work they do.

So, while Byron Allen is trying to flex to Lemon, it is a very lame flex at that.
