Most Anchors Run Their Own Teleprompter

KUSA (Denver) Anchor Scotty Gange tried to pull back the curtain a bit, showing viewers how the teleprompter works.

I can easily tell that Gange and I come from two different eras in TV news, when he says that “Most TV Anchors run their own teleprompter”.

I still remember days when you had a production crew and one of those on the crew, ran the prompter.

But, cost-cutting eliminated most of those people.
