Stephen Colbert’s final show on CBS brought in nearly 7 million viewers.

Colbert popped up the day after on cable access and brought in nearly 700,000 views.

What is interesting is the fact that while Colbert brought in near 7 million viewers for his final show, there was no mention on the show on Friday’s CBS’s Morning show.

Puck reports that the brass at CBS instructed the morning show to go silent on Colbert’s final show. "The ghosting was a specific directive from CBS News president Tom Cibrowski, who hated Colbert's recent bit mocking their failure to secure a China visa for anchor Tony Dokoupil." A source conveying Cibrowski's view said Colbert "kicked colleagues when they were down..." Puck wrote.

It just shows that CBS News is now being run by a couple of entitled grade schoolers.
