Longtime Fox O&O Boss Out! Effective Immediately

Fox O&O boss Jack Abernethy held a conference call with GM’s and corporate leaders at the Fox owned stations.

During the call, longtime WTTG General Manager, Patrick Paolini told those on the call that he was leaving, effective immediately.

Paolini has been in the Fox fold for over 20 years, the last 3 years as the Executive Vice President FTS Ad Sales.

Paolini spent almost 16 of his years at Fox, running WTTG in Washington, DC.

The fact that he’s leaving with no notice, likely means two things. One, he was pushed out at Fox. More likely, is that Paolini is headed to another station group.

That could mean he is headed to Sinclair, Nexstar or maybe CBS. I guess he could be headed elsewhere, but I think those three is where you would want to put your money.

Stay tuned…
