Bought and Paid for...
/I guess if you agree to give CBS millions of dollars, you are invited on the network's morning show.
Byron Allen appeared on CBS's morning show to discuss his late-night show, which he is paying CBS to air, replacing *The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Friday.
Allen is paying CBS and will try and make the money back by selling ads. It's sort of like a infomercial, if you will.
"51 years ago, I said this is what I'm going to do with my life: make people laugh," Allen said.
"I guess he failed. None of us at his TV stations are laughing. Pay us better and we'll laugh at anything you babble," said one Allen Media employee to FTVLive.
His appearance on the morning show was very promising, as far as comedy is concerned.
Just saying
