Gray Bumps Up Some Sales Geeks

Gray Media named a couple of new General Managers, and no surprise, both come from the sales side of the business.

WFIE (Evansville) GM Jay Hiett gets bumped up to the GM of WDRB, WAVE, and WBKI in Louisville, Ky.

Hiett was previously the General Sales Manager at WFIE, before getting the GM job.

Replacing Hiett at WFIE is Jamie Bremer. She began her career at WFIE as a media executive before moving into sales leadership, and most recently was director of sales.

Of course, in today’s TV station environment, it is all about money, and the news department takes a back seat.
