Trading Stations

While they are all small market stations, you can bet that cuts will be coming.

Gray Media and Scripps swapped a number of smaller market stations which will give both companies duopolies. This will allow the companies to combine stations, consolidate newsrooms and get rid of people to save money.

Gray Media get these stations from Scripps:
WSYM in Lansing, Mich.
KATC in Lafayette, La.

In return, Scripps acquires these stations from Gray:
KKTV in Colorado Springs, Colo.;
KKCO and KJCT-LP in Grand Junction, Colo.
KMVT and KSVT-LD in Twin Falls, Idaho.
