Nexstar Anchor Moves Behind the Camera and is No Moving On

It has been months and months, since viewers have seen WCYB (Bristol, VA) Morning Anchor Tracey Brooks on the anchor desk.

Over three years ago, Brooks made this announcement about moving to the morning newscast.

Sources at the station tell FTVLive that Brooks has moved to producing the evening newscast. She said that she did not like the morning schedule and moved off air.

“She works from home 99% of the time because of her dog,” said one station employee to FTVLive.

It now appears that Brooks is planning on leaving the station and staying in the producing ranks. She announced that she got married and is headed to the Scripps station in Salt Lake City.
