The Math isn't Mathing

I’m not sure ABC’s Good Morning America understands how math works.

ABC claims that in gas is $4.49 a gallon and you minus that by 18.4%, gas would cost $4.31 a gallon.

But, if you do the math, the exact result is 3.66384. If you are rounding to the nearest cent, the total is $3.66 a gallon.
