Ratings Squabble in Indy

The Indianapolis Star did a piece about the TV stations in the market and in the headline they claimed that Tegna’s (kind of Nexstar’s) WTHR is the top rated station in the market. They also claimed that WRTV, which was dumped by Scripps to Circle City had “superior ratings.

WXIN morning Anchor Angela Ganote took issue with these claims, saying that her station was No. 1 in the ratings.

Ganote then tried to reach out to the paper, but got no luck in getting it changed.

It’s nice to see someone stick up for their station, but in the end, if it gets changed now, the story will be buried and few will see it.
