Two and Out in Tennessee

WBBJ (Jackson, TN) Anchor/Reporter Ryan Brooks anchored his last newscast at the station.

After two years at the Gray Media station, Brooks is moving on.

This is what he posted on social media and of course, he did not say what is next. That’s always for other post and some more clicks.

“It’s a farewell family! After 2 years of telling your stories here in West Tennessee it is time for me to wrap up my journey at WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News, but there’s certainly more of what’s in store for my next adventure!

I’ve laughed with some of you on your best days, and cried with you at some of the toughest moments all while having the most incredible opportunity making a difference.

I took a leap of faith to do something that was bigger than me, and God graced me for this assignment. Thank you all, YOU…the viewers, family, friends, and just for those consistently showing up for me, watching, encouraging, uplifting, and motivating me. I’m truly inspired by the efforts I’ve been a part of to give back to my community. The generosity, patience, and kindness I’ve received are absolutely unmatched.

As for what’s next…continue to follow and keep up with me on all of my social media! It’s been a blessing to serve as your reporter and weekend news anchor doing my very best to give you coverage you can count on! Godspeed ahead”
