Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth, went off on the media again.

Hegseth is doing all he can to show Donald Trump that he will do whatever it takes to keep his job, and if that means kissing Trump’s ass, he’ll do it.

Hegseth accused the press of constant negative stories about Trump. Hegseth also pointed out that Trump has had "historic and important success" with the Iran war.

That is obviously not true, and while it may or may not happen, it has been far from a success so far.

"Sometimes it's hard to figure out what side some of you are actually on," Hegseth said to the media.

And, here is the point he is missing by a wide margin. Journalists are not there to be on the side of the United States, or the side of Iran, Israel, or anyone else.

The only side journalists should be on is the side of the truth!

While that is not the case in the cable news world, in the real world of journalism, the truth is the only side a journalist should take.
