The Hypocrisy

Over a week ago, FTVLive told you that WNBC SVP of News, Amy Morris was leaving the station.

Insiders tell FTVLive that on Morris’s exit from the NBC O&O, the hypocrisy was rich.

“At the end of January, WNBC/WNJU eliminated the positions of a dozen people. Producers, writers, assignment desk, most of the sports department. Senior management at the time (so… Amy Morris) told managers not to reach out to the impacted employees after they left. That means having no contact with people they’ve known and worked with for 5, 10 years… in some cases even longer,” said the station insider, adding, “But tonight, five days after Amy Morris’ position was eliminated, some of those same managers (pictured below) were out at a party with her. It seems the no contact rule doesn’t apply.”
