More Tegna Cuts

Officially, Nexstar is not allowed to tell Tegna what to do until they officially take over the company.

As someone that has been through a few mergers, I can tell you that while the takeover company is not supposed to do it, they do it anyway.

I’m not saying Nexstar is telling Tegna what to do, but I wouldn’t be surprised if that was the case.

Otherwise, with the merger this/close to being done, why would WTSP, the Tegna station, be blowing out so many people? Why not just let Nexstar decide what to do when they take control shorty?

It doesn’t pass the smell test.
