From Reporter to News Director at The Firm
/Amanda St. Hilaire has been named vice president and news director at WITI Milwaukee, a Fox-owned and operated station. In this role, she is responsible for the editorial, business, and administrative operations of the station and its streaming platforms. She reports to Mim Davey, who serves as senior vice president and regional general manager for WITI and KMSP-WFTC Minneapolis. Davey cited St. Hilaire’s tenure at the station as a factor in the appointment.
St. Hilaire joined WITI in 2018 as an investigative reporter and has worked as news content manager for the past four years. Outside of her work at the station, she is an adjunct instructor at Marquette University, where she teaches television news production and investigative reporting.
Her previous experience includes roles as a producer, reporter, and weekend anchor at WHTM in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, as well as reporting positions at WTOL and WUPW in Toledo, Ohio.
