Bumped Up in Raleigh
/Capitol Broadcasting Company has announced the promotion of Kirstyn Clark to weekend anchor for WRAL. Clark, who joined the station in July 2025, will assume her new duties in late March.
A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Clark previously served as a Weekend Morning Anchor and Reporter at WBOC in Salisbury, Maryland, covering the Delmarva Peninsula. Her industry recognition includes 2024 awards for Best Reporter and Outstanding Spot News Reporting from the Chesapeake Associated Press Broadcasters Association, as well as the Sidmel Estes Best Producing Award from the National Association of Black Journalists.
