Blowing the Dust off the Storm Ranger

Remember years ago, the NBC O&O’s were blasting viewers with promos about their Storm Ranger fleet of fancy sat trucks, decked out with weather technology?

The company had 5 or 6 of these trucks built which were to be passed around at the O&Os.

It might go down as some of the most wasted money by an O&O group ever. The trucks were rarely used or seen.

But, finally, with a major Winter storm, one of the Storm Rangers had its battery jumped and made an appearence, outside of a parade.
