And the cuts just keep on coming…

Nexstar has been whacking people coast to coast as the company gets ready to takeover the Tegna stations.

We hear that the Nexstar suits, sharpened up the ax and brought to the the studios of KTLA.

Off the top, on-air talent Glenn Walker, Lu Parker, Mark Kristi, Kayce Montoya were told their services are no longer needed. One source tells us that talent Mark Kriski, Ellina Abovian and Mike Janssen were also part of the cuts, along with more people behind the scenes.

One Nexstar insider says that this is just wave one and more cuts are coming. Of course, when the Tegna deal closes, you can expect many, many more.
