This Will Piss Off Perry Sook to No End

With the Nexstar/Tegna deal almost complete, something happened at a Tegna station that is sure to piss off Nexstar executives.

Late last week, The Producers and Digital team at Tegna’s KGW in Portland were part of a vote to see if they wanted to be represented by IBEW.

The vote happened and the choice to unionize was loud and clear. 17 KGW employees voted to join IBEW, with only 3 employees voting no.

Now, as Nexstar takes over, they will be dealing with IBEW when it comes to the Producers and Digital people.
