If You Work for Nexstar

Sen. Ted Cruz is holding hearings on media ownership rules, which of course has a lot of focus on the Nexstar/Tegna deal.

Newsmax CEO and Trump Propagandist, Chris Ruddy spoke out against FCC chair Brendan Carr, claiming he has inadequately advised Trump.

Ruddy predicted big cuts at local stations, saying, "If you're a journalist working for Nexstar, you should begin posting your resume."

What Ruddy didn’t add, but should have, “the same can be said if you work for Tegna.” I would argue it will be worse for Tegna people, than Nexstar people.

Ruddy is against the Nexstar/Tegna deal, but only for personal reason and not for the good of the industry. IMO.
