Don't Let the Facts Get in the Way

News Nation’s Katie Pavlich seems to have an issue getting the facts correct.

After seeing this post from a right-wing reporter Pavlich then posted this.

She certainly makes it seem like this happened under the Biden administration. And while, I’m sure there were cases like this that happened under Biden, this particular case took place under the Trump administration.

The child crossed the border on Jan. 16, 2026, nearly a year after Trump's Jan. 2025 inauguration.

The suspect in the case was charged on Jan. 29, 2026; and arrested Feb. 1, 2026.

This entire case happened under the Trump administration, yet for some reason, the Nexstar host left that out of her post.
