The End of the Fox News Era?

Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson made a statement that I can sort of agree with.

After the midterms, Carlson said, “This is the end of the Trump era,” and the end of the “Fox News era.” I agree with him on Trump.

Trump will always have his core of supporters, most of whom are just downright racist.

But, he has lost many, and with the constant lies and his bowing down to dictators, I do not think he will recover from this. I think the MAGA movement is in the final stages.

As for Fox News, I don’t agree with Carlson’s take. I have said for years that people like Sean Hannity and Brian Kilmeade will end up on the wrong side of history, and I believe that is becoming more true.

But, the folks running Fox News are much smarter than Hannity, or all the Trump followers at Fox News. They will regroup, come up with a new direction, and reinvent themselves.

I do think that all of cable news are going to become less relevant in the coming years, and while Fox News will lose some of their power, they will still be a strong player in the game.

It might be time for Fox News to look for some new faces, freshen everything up, but I don’t think Carlson is right that this is the end of Fox News.
