Reporter Charged with Two Counts of Vehicular Homicide

In June, Paul Fisher joined Tegna’s WBIR (Knoxville) as an MMJ. In his online bio on WBIR’s website, it reads, “For Paul, journalism is more than a career—it's an opportunity to serve others and strengthen the communities that invite him into their lives, one story at a time.”

Just five months into his new job, Fisher is making the news and not reporting it.

Cops say that Fisher killed two people in a wrong way crash on I-40.

Brian and Brandi Elmore were killed when police say Fisher’s car hit them head-on. Fisher is injured and charged with two counts of vehicular homicide.

WBIR reported the story and said that Fisher was employed by the station.
