After The Scripps Cuts

As you know, Scripps decided last week to fire nearly 500 people in yet another round of cuts at the struggling company.

At Scripps owned WPTV (West Palm) most of the digital editors have been laid off or outsourced to a regional team.

A look at the station’s YouTube channel, shows what happens when you cut your staff. A story about flooding was titled as a story about a sheriff involved shooting.

Viewers are left confused as to what the story is actually about.
