The Boss is Leaving in O-Town and Tampa

FTVLive hears that Susan D'Astoli, the News Director for both Florida Spectrum News stations (Bay News 9 in Tampa and News 13 in Orlando) is leaving.

Word is that her exit will be early next year.

Some station insiders questioned her recent move of sending reporters and crews into the path of Hurricane Isaias.

The storm was hours away from central and west Florida, ending up making land in the Florida Panhandle.

Isaias was in zero way a threat to Orlando and at best a rip current threat to Tampa.

“She then bragged to our staff that our competition didn't cover it. Well, the competition knew it wasn't our storm,” said one station insider to FTVLive.
