Nexstar Station Drops the Ball

Nexstar continues to try and push that they deserve to take control of the Tegna stations, but their actions sure speak differently.

With a tornado warning in the WNCN viewing area, viewers are likely to tune in, on air and online for what can be lifesaving information.

But, as viewers went to the station’s website and click on live coverage, they could see the “Tornado Warning Alerts” at the top of the page, but the streaming programing was just pre-recorded canned news.

If a viewer clicked on the “Live Now” link, they were met with a feed that could not be loaded.

A TV station should be there to help keep viewers safe, obviously, Nexstar does not take that edict seriously. And, it shows once again, why this company should not be handed control of more stations.
