The Firm Continues to Cut Newscasts

Earlier this week, FTVLive told you that The Firm cut the Noon newscast at KRIV in Houston.

But sources tell FTVLive that isn’t the only newscast that Fox has chopped at the O&Os.

A Bay Area insider tells FTVLive that The Firm’s KTVU, they've cut the Noon news down to a half hour and now they reduced the 6 p.m. newscast from an hour to a half hour where they now run FOX's West Coast Wrap twice at 6:30 and 7:30.

With all that is happening around the world and particularly here in the United States, Fox Television is offering local viewers less news.

Because an uninformed public is not a bigger threat than an informed public.
