Lawsuit One Week, New Station the Next

Yesterday, FTVLive told you that former WTVF (Nashville) Meteorologist Bree Smith was suing the Scripps station for gender discrimination.

Smith filed a lawsuit and now she is making more news.

Starting today, Smith will start at WSMV, the Gray station across the street.

When Smith left WTVF when contract talks went south, many viewers voiced their displeasure with Smith’s exit.

Now, she returns to the air in the same market and is talking her old station to court.

2026 is looking up for Bree Smith.
