Freezing in Cleveland

Back in December in a Patron Only story, FTVLive told you about how bad it has gotten at Gray's WOIO in Cleveland.

FTVLive reported that WOIO staff had gone without heat and hot water for several weeks, before the water issue was finally resolved.

The heat is still a problem.

A month after we told you that story, the heat is still not on at the Gray station.

Portable space heaters have been brought in and placed all around the station (picture above and below). One insider said that if you are not within a few feet of a space heater, “it’s cold as fuck.”

Staffers are building up in jackets and blankets to work inside the newsroom.

No word, if the employees will ever have the heat turned back on.
