That's Bull
/Most people's morning forecasts involve a chance of rain or maybe some patchy fog. For KTVU (Oakland) Meteorologist Roberta Gonzales, Friday’s outlook included a 100% chance of bull.
Residents of her quiet California neighborhood woke up to a scene straight out of a bizarre farm-to-suburbia program: two very large, very real bulls casually enjoying a breakfast of meticulously manicured lawn grass. The impromptu cattle drive had made a pit stop directly in Gonzales's front yard.
Gonzales, who is accustomed to tracking unusual atmospheric phenomena, found this particular low-pressure system to be a bit more... beefy. The two escapees, having liberated themselves from a nearby field, seemed perfectly content to sample the local greenery, blissfully unaware of the suburban stir they were causing.
Showing a knack for dry humor, the meteorologist took to social media. "Forget the squirrel problem in my backyard garden," she quipped. "This is what I woke up to in my front yard this morning! Who needs to buy a lotto ticket when you have $25,000 standing in our front yard!"
Eventually, the owner was located and arrived to round up his wandering livestock, ending the bovine adventure. The bulls' visit was brief, but they left behind a few memorable souvenirs: a newly aerated lawn, several deep hoofprints, and a couple of steaming, all-natural fertilizer deposits.
