Tuning Out in Droves

You can go back over a decade ago and FTVLive told you that this was coming.

People are tuning out TV at a fast clip.

In the third quarter of this year, broadcast network primetime ratings are down 51% year over year.

The declines are across the board with ABC (-12%), CBS (-1%), FOX (-32%) and NBC (-78%) according to Nielsen.

It is really bad for Comcast properties, which owns NBC. Let’s look at the ratings drop for the Comcast-owned cable stations.
