Back in March of 2024, WKYC Morning Anchor Maureen Kyle announced that she was leaving the anchor desk.

“Today is my last day with you on the morning show. I will be taking a big step back from the news department,” she said at the time, while being joined by her kids. “They are the main reason that I’m taking a step back. It’s been 15 years of me on this morning show.”

Well, now Kyle is returning to TV news, but not at the Tegna station.

She is resurfacing at Nexstar’s WJW across the street.
