Sorry, Charlie...

Sinclair kissed the ring of Donald Trump and Trump’s FCC when they said that they would not air Jimmy Kimmel's late night talk show.

The company said that on Friday night, in Kimmel’s time slot, Sinclair would be airing a Charlie Kirk special.

Sinclair even offered up the special to non-Sinclair stations would wanted it.

FTVLive heard from a WJLA (DC) staffer who said that the Charlie Kirk tribute show did not air on Sinclair’s flagship station.

Then another Sinclair employee said that the well publicized tribute didn’t air on their station either.

Turns out, the Sinclair stations aired a rerun of Celebrity Family Feud, in place of the Kirk special.

Just 10 minutes before the Kirk special was set to run across all the Sinclair ABC stations, the company issued a statement on social media announcing that it would instead premiere on YouTube.

“Tonight, Sinclair will continue to air ABC network programming as scheduled in the late-night time period,” the company wrote.

Sinclair never said why they pulled the Kirk tribute.

Jimmy Kimmel was not available for comment.
