Bounced WISH Employees Send Out Press Release
/Here is something you don’t see everyday.
Two employees who were part of the mass cuts at at trouble WISH (Indianapolis) have sent out a press release.
It wasn’t a release about being bounced by the station, although that was mentioned. But, it was a release as the pair looks for their next opportunity in TV news.
It is certainly and approach that I have not seen, but I give them credit for taking the hit, getting back up and trying to move on.
Here is the release they sent out.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
This month brought an unexpected change. Despite the sudden and unexpected departures from WISH-TV, we see this as a blessing and we are excited for what is in store. We love this industry and we are actively looking for our next newsroom home where we can serve viewers and support local communities. We have worked side by side since East Texas, growing together from Nexstar’s NBC and FOX stations to WISH-TV in Indianapolis. News Reporter Reyna Revelle and Promotions Producer Jerry Morales Jr. are now seeking their next roles.
“Tough decisions were made that brought about changes, and while it’s never easy, I believe everything happens for a reason. I have full faith that God has a plan for what comes next,” Revelle said. “Thank you all for your continued support … it means the world to me. Stay tuned!”
“I am proud of the work we delivered for viewers” Morales Jr. said. “We love what we do and we pour every ounce of our passion into our jobs. I am grateful for every collaboration and I am ready to help a new team win.”
