It's About Damn Time

Back in 2009, FTVLive broke the worldwide exclusive that NBC was going to cancel Jay Leno’s prime-time show and move him back to The Tonight Show, basically screwing Conan O’Brien.

Here’s just one mention of FTVLive breaking the story, by CBS News.

FTVLive was mentioned in thousands of articles around the world.

At the time Horad Kurtz was hosting “Reliable” Sources on CNN and brought together a panel to discus the story that FTVLive FIRST broke.

One of his guests was a hack from the website called The Wrap. The guest said that FTVLive had to get the information from an NBC affiliate, which of course was not true. No affiliate had a clue. Hell, Conan O’Brien didn’t have a clue, until he read about it on FTVLive.

While Kurtz was busy trying to cover the story, you know who he never reached out to?

FTVLive.

Don’t you think you should try and contact the media outlet that broke the story, instead of inviting your friends to come onto your show and GUESS how we broke the story?

Years later Kurtz went to CNN, but his poor reporting skills and his kissing up to Donald Trump showed just how much a lightweight he was.

This week, Fox News finally decided to pull the plug on Kurtz’s weekly commercial for the Trump administration.

Sadly, for Fox News they were just a dozen years too late on kicking Kurtz to the curb.
