FTVLive has told you how Sinclair gutted KTUL in Tulsa. They bounced a bunch of people and move much of the production to a sister station in Oklahoma City.

Since the turmoil, KTUL has gone through a number of Meteorologists. It’s one of the few jobs that is based out of Tulsa.

The station has made yet another hire.

Jason Nappi comes from Maine. His post on social media is of the KTUL set, saying “They don’t build sets like this anymore”. Considering the set is decades old, I would hope not.

He also calls KTUL a “legacy television station”.

It was at one time, but after Sinclair came in, it’s basically a low staffed satellite facility for the station in Oklahoma City.

Judging by the past mets hired at the station, hopefully Nappi can make it more than a few months.
