Yesterday, FTVLive was the FIRST to show you the internal email that was sent to Tegna employees after the announcement that Nexstar was buying the company.

The the email to Tegna staff, it said, “We’ve scheduled an All-Hands meeting for 12 p.m. ET today where I will share more about why we made the decision and cover the questions that are on your mind.”

FTVLive talked to a number of Tegna staffers who tried connecting into the meeting with no luck.

The Tegna email said, “….our fight to secure the future of local news – and win against Big Tech.”

How are you going to beat “Big Tech” if you can’t even get the staff on a conference call?
