So, when Erin became a hurricane, the good news was it appeared to be steering North and would have little threat to the United States.

Yet, WYFF (Greenville) Met Chris Justus appeared to hype the storm for clicks and views.

“Many in the WYFF newsroom wonder why the leader of the weather team is allowed to do this daily. Always a hype post to scare viewers. Does management not care?” said a station insider to FTVLive.
