Leaving the Business

WXII (Winston-Salem) Anchor/Reporter DaVonté McKenith has left the station after 8 1/2 years.

McKenith isn’t just leaving the station, he’s leaving the news business after 13 years.

According to his LinkedIn, he’s landed a comms job for Lowes Hardware.

While I have to believe the pay is better and the hours are much better, it seems like it will be a lot more boring than TV news.

He posted about his exit on social media.
