Sinclair Ready to Swing the Ax

While Sinclair has come out and said that the company will restructure its operation, there is this one quote from Sinclair CEO Chris Ripley.

“Scale wins in today’s broadcast industry, and we intend to lead that consolidation,” said Ripley.

Yep, he said the quiet part out loud.

Companies like Sinclair, Nexstar and Gray are licking their chops to consolidate stations and put people out of work.

2025 is shaping up to be a brutal year for the industry.
