The Hollywood Reporter did a fluff piece on Nexstar’s News nation, talking to their leader Sean Compton.

Despite the fact that News Nation is trying to be Fox News Lite, Compton tries to act as if they are, pardon the pun, fair and balanced.

In an answer to the bias, Compton says this about hard right host Leland Vittert.

“We have a couple of opinionated hosts, they are labeled as such, and they tell you that’s their opinion. I always tell Leland Vittert, who tends to lean a little right….”

A Little?

Then Compton goes onto say, “When Leland has someone from from the Democrat Party on, he has the congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, she was on a couple of weeks in a row, and he challenged her with some good, tough questions…”

Compton, who also leans “a little” to the right should know that it is NOT the Democrat Party, it’s the Democratic Party.

I don’t know if Nexstar paid The Hollywood Reporter for this fluff piece, but they sure should have.
