Former CNN Reporter Nick Valencia has joined a long list of Journalists who are going out on their own.

Valencia becomes the latest to join the Substack community and work as an independent.

I remember 25 years ago, when I decided to start my own website and go it alone. People said I would never make it and there was no future in trying to do your own thing online.

Now, over two decades later, it appears that maybe I was onto something.
