Ben Dobson is leaving Nexstar’s DC News Now and headed to the Big Apple to work at Nexstar’s WPIX in New York.

One staffer at DC News Now, had this to say, “He will soon be there problem and not ours,”

There is no doubt that Dobson has been a polarizing figure in many of the newsrooms that he worked.

Some in DC are asking how long it will be before Dobson brings Anchor Susan Tran with him to New York. “She is his (Dobson’s) favorite Anchor and the favoritism he showed her, helped make this place (DC News Now) toxic,” said one DC News Now staffer to FTVLive.

FTVLive has heard from many working in DC and they were concerned as to the way they felt Dobson was running things.

Will we see the same when he gets to WPIX?
