Foul Ball...

Baseball fans, especially this is Chicago were more than a bit pissed off with a post by ESPN.

Former Chicago White Sox pitcher Bobby Jenks passed away and this is what the “worldwide leader in sports” posted.

The post said in part, “(Jenks) was on the roster when the franchise won the 2005 World Series.”

Jenks wasn’t just on the roster, he was on the pitcher’s mound when the Sox won the World Series.

The Chi-Sox won the series in 4 games and Jenks played in all 4 games of the series.

Saying he was just “on the roster” made it sound like he was a bench-warmer who never got into the game.

One former player chimed in.
