Gone, Just Like That

Last week, FTVLive told you that KWQC (Davenport, IA) News Director Beth Marsoun walked out of the station.

There was a brief memo sent to the staff and the ND was gone without saying a word, according to insiders.

Marsoun had told the staff that she was going to leave the station in August, but it happened earlier than that.

“Instead she just decided to call it quits a week and a half before and not let any of us know in person. Instead she sent a lousy email,” said one station insider, adding “ Never told us in person. Just left and didn’t clean out her office.”

“KWQC will now be looking for its third news director in a year after the previous one before Marsoun got demoted last summer…” said one station insider.
