Director of Story Telling
/It seems like media companies continue to take the jobs that were once the duties of newsroom managers and turn them into corporate gigs.
Erik Sandoval was the “Manager of Content” at Graham Media’s struggling WKMG in Orlando.
He has now been bumped up to a newly created corporate job and is the “Director of Storytelling.”
As media companies continue to cut back, they seem to continue to fatten up the corporate ranks.
Ny thought is, if you hired Journalists, who don’t know how to present stories, then you hired the wrong people.
But hay, that’s just me.
