$1.2 Million Dollars

Jim Schwartzel owns Sun Broadcast, the CW Affiliate in Fort Myers which airs WINK News and works out of the WINK building.

Schwartzel is running for Congress, and his campaign sent out an email claiming he brought in $1.2 million bucks in campaign donations in the first 10 weeks of his campaign.

While that sounds impressive, when. you read the release, it’s not so much.

“How do you think the employees at WINK and Sun Broadcasting feel about the owner giving himself a million dollar loan? Are they getting raises?” said one WINK News insider.

Schwartzel is running under the MAGA umbrella, which plays well in Southwest Florida.
