Out in Seattle

There are many people who have had a lot of jobs in TV news, and then there is Rick Boone.

Rick Boone has had so many jobs that we’ve lost count, and he surely doesn’t stick around very long.

Recently, Boone was hired as the News Director at WHNT in Huntsville. Less than a year later he was named the ND at WXXV in Biloxi, an 80 market drop from Huntsville.

When he was the ND at KARD/KTVE (West Monroe, LA), he sent out one very odd email.

At the end of February, Boone was named the Assistant News Director at KIRO in Seattle. In a story, FTVLive wrote, “Hopefully, he can make it a bit longer in Seattle than his last two jobs, where he didn’t make it two years.”

Two years? Hell, he barely got past two months. This was the email sent to the staff.

Boone posted that he has another job.

I think we know what happened. The thing is, while Boone certainly has trouble keeping a job, he must kill it in the interview process. Because, somehow, he keeps getting hired.
